Author, musician, speaker, journalist, poet, naturalist, marathon runner. Brilliant, creative, clever, kind, empathetic. A man of authenticity and a stalwart of integrity—and one of the fastest typists I have ever seen! Especially considering he was composing content in his mighty brain as it flowed simultaneously through his fingers.
This is Rob Simbeck. I’m certainly not qualified to categorize Rob as a genius, but I’d make that bet. For one, being in the presence of Rob and his smarts does not squash a lesser brain (such as mine)! He is a people magnet that raises others to his level, a gentle genius.
Clearly, I love working with Rob. His business as a writer covers so many facets in the publishing arena it becomes a blatant name-dropping frenzy—Kellie Pickler, Joe Nichols, Blake Shelton, Jon Pardi, Frankie Ballard, Trace Adkins, Craig Morgan, Sheryl Crow, Shania Twain, Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn, Alan Jackson, Waylon Jennings, Kenny Rogers, Rascal Flatts, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Jo Dee Messina, Blake Shelton, Wayne Newton, Bela Fleck, B.J. He has worked with scores of the interesting and famous, both nationally and in our own Music City, where Rob calls home. Rob is also the Nashville Bureau Chief of Bob Kingsley’s Top 40 (http://www.ct40.com).
To keep in line with his top tier performance, we recently upgraded Rob’s website to be responsive – built to provide optimal viewing experience on all devices, desktop to mobile.
With mobile devices making up roughly 53% of all web traffic, the need for a responsive website is more of a necessity than a want. The ability to provide a seamless experience from your site to the user across the span of available devices ensures that you can bring them into your story or culture effortlessly! We are, as you read, rebuilding the McClearen Design website to bring that experience to our visitors!
Oh, good grief, I must quit going on and on about Rob… but I have to mention that we had a blast collaborating on this book for Cracker Barrel a few years ago. We were able to access so much rich content from the early greats of the music industry. Plus, the joy of working with photos by the legendary Les Leverett!
